Answers before you order, print or press
Find the practical answer without digging through fine print. Start with ordering, artwork, production or pressing—then contact us if your job falls outside the standard path.
Ordering
Choose the route that matches the state of your artwork and the way you buy.
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet places multiple designs onto one 58 cm-wide print length. DTF is printed on a PET film carrier; DTP is printed on a paper carrier. After delivery, you cut the individual transfers apart and apply them to garments with a heat press.
What is the difference between DTF and DTP?
DTF is printed on PET film from $23 per metre. DTP is printed on a paper carrier from $26 per metre and presses at a lower temperature. Both use the same artwork, the same 58 cm width and the same 10 cm length steps from 1 m to 5 m, and both are produced in Australia.
Compare DTF and DTP gang sheets →Should I build online or upload a complete sheet?
Use the online builder when you have individual designs that still need arranging. Choose the print-ready route when the complete sheet is already laid out at its final size.
Compare the two paths →Where do I confirm the current price?
Review the relevant pricing page, then confirm the amount shown in the order flow before checkout. Printing regularly? Trade pricing, VIP Gift Card bonus credit and VIP Lifetime Cashback all lower your cost per metre.
View gang sheet pricing →Is there a discount for larger orders?
Trade pricing is public: verified ABN holders pay 15% less than Retail on both DTF and DTP gang sheets. For bigger volume, buy ahead with a VIP Gift Card for bonus credit and earn VIP Lifetime Cashback on every order. There are no separate volume quotes — the best rates are published.
Explore Trade ordering →How do Rewards points work, and do they expire?
Join free through the Rewards button at the bottom left of any page and you get 5 points ($5). Every paid order then earns cashback points at 5%, 10% or 15%, and 1 point = $1 off a later order. Points don't expire, but once you redeem points as a discount code, the code is valid for 24 hours, so redeem when you're ready to check out.
Read the Rewards guide →Artwork
A clean source file and a careful final check prevent many avoidable production problems.
What should I check before uploading?
Confirm final dimensions, transparent areas, source quality and the complete sheet layout. Check that nothing overlaps, clips at an edge or appears at the wrong size.
Use the four-point preflight →Does a white canvas count as transparent?
No. A white background can print as part of the design. Inspect the file around edges, holes and fine details to confirm that unwanted background pixels are actually removed.
Can a small image be enlarged for printing?
It can be resized, but enlarging a small or compressed source reduces its effective quality. Inspect the artwork at the intended print size and start from the cleanest source available.
What if my file is unusual?
Do not guess at an important production detail. Send us the intended dimensions, use and file information so the team can advise on the next practical step.

Where are transfers produced?
DTF Complete produces transfers through its own Australian production workflow for delivery across Australia. Artwork preparation, printing, adhesive application, curing and inspection form one connected process.
See our production workflow →When will my order dispatch?
Typical turnaround is 24 hours. Paid, artwork-approved gang sheet orders up to 20 m placed before 11am AEST/AEDT, Monday to Friday are packed and ready to ship the same day. Standard shipping is free from $150 and express shipping is free from $250, including GST.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes. Orders are produced in Australia and delivered across the country. The available delivery option and current charge are shown or confirmed through the order flow.
Can I inspect a transfer before ordering volume?
Order a Free Sample Pack to test the print, feel and application on your own garment before a larger run. The transfers are free — you only pay delivery: $10 standard or $15 express.
Get a Free Sample Pack →Pressing & support
The transfer, garment and press must work together—test unfamiliar combinations before a complete run.
What press settings should I use?
Use the settings published for the carrier you ordered as a starting point, then adjust them to suit your own press, garment and fabric. DTF starts from 150°C for 5 seconds at medium pressure; DTP starts from 130°C for 4 seconds at 3.0 bar. Both are hot peel, both use a second press, and neither needs a cover sheet.
Read the application workflow →Should I test the garment first?
Yes. Check heat sensitivity and press a sample before committing to the complete run, especially when the fabric or garment construction is unfamiliar.
What can prevent even application?
Seams, zips, pockets and other raised areas can interrupt contact between the press and transfer. Position the garment so the application area receives even heat and pressure.
Can DTF Complete press the garments for me?
Garment Fulfilment remains in pre-launch review and is not open for checkout. You can register interest and share the garment source, quantity, artwork status and timing.
